Season opens for booking each December 1 (about 5 months before the first summer nights)

Reservations can be made as early as December 1 of the year before the visit, online through the concessioner's third-party reservation system. The concessioner's site says it will begin accepting reservations for the 2027 season on December 1, 2026.

Riley Creek

Summer reservations are strongly recommended. In winter (mid-September through early May each year), reservations are not necessary. The winter season starts roughly 2 weeks and a day after the Labor Day holiday. Group campsites: Independent visitors and non-profit organizations may use group campsites by simply making a reservation. For-profit businesses must apply for a Commercial Use Authorization (CUA) from the NPS to use a group campsite at Savage River Campground (note: only private parties and non-profit organizations may use the group site at Riley Creek Campground). Savage River

Reservations are strongly recommended. Group campsites: Independent visitors and non-profit groups may use group campsites by simply making a reservation. Do I need a reservation to camp in Denali?
Every campground reservations. For Riley Creek Campground, Savage River Campground, Sanctuary River Campground, Teklanika River Campground, Igloo Creek Campground, Wonder Lake Campground (closed through 2026): Season opens for booking each December 1 (about 5 months before the first summer nights).
Can I bring an RV to Denali?
Yes. 3 campgrounds allow RVs; the longest stated limit is 40 feet (Riley Creek, Teklanika River and Savage River). 1 campground has a dump station. Hookups are rare in national parks — check each campground's details.
Is there cell service at Denali campgrounds?
