Partial boat launch closure at Kabetogama Lake Sept 28 - Oct 5
The boat launch at Kabetogama Lake Visitor Center will be partially closed from September 28 through October 5 to allow for the removal of construction vessels from the lake. The boat launch's south lane will remain open, while the north lane will be closed. Additional work will be taking place in the vicinity. Please stay out of all marked work zones.

Increased bear activity and Dryweed Island area closures
Due to unsafe bear‑human interactions, all of the Dryweed Island area's campsites, houseboat sites, and day use sites are closed. See below for a full list of sites covered by the closure. This time of year typically brings increased bear activity throughout the park. Visitors should remain bear aware and follow all food‑storage requirements.
